Return & Refund Policy

At Velara, we want you to love your jewellery. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please read the return conditions below carefully. Our return policy is in accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Return Window

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. Returns requested after this period will not be accepted.

What Can Be Returned

Accepted for return

  • Rings, necklaces, bracelets and brooches — unworn, in original condition with tags still attached

Not accepted for return

  • Earrings — once the sealed packaging has been opened, earrings cannot be returned for hygiene and health protection reasons. This is a legal exemption under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
  • Personalised or custom jewellery — items that have been engraved, made to order, or otherwise customised cannot be returned.
  • Items without original tags attached
  • Items that show visible signs of wear or damage
  • Items returned after the 14-day return window

 

Start a Return

To start a return, you can contact us at support@velara.uk If your return is accepted, we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Return Cost

  • Change of mind: return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Restocking Fee

We do not charge any restocking fees.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item, please email us at support@velara.uk with the details of the item you wish to exchange. Exchanges can be requested within 14 days of delivery. The same conditions apply: your item must be unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

UK 14-Day Cooling Off Period

As we sell to consumers in the United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without justification, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
